Refund Policy
When we do and do not refund digital downloads. Please read this before buying. Last updated: 10 September 2026.
1. Your Right to Cancel, and How It Is Affected
Consumers buying online often have a statutory cooling-off period. For digital content supplied immediately, that right works differently: where you ask for immediate access and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel, the cooling-off period ends as soon as the download begins.
At checkout you agree to immediate supply of the eBook. Once the download starts, the statutory right to cancel no longer applies. This is standard for digital goods and is the reason we set out the contents, length, format and intended reader in detail on every product page — so you can judge the book properly before paying.
2. When We Will Refund You
We refund in full, without argument, in these situations:
- The file is faulty. It will not open, is corrupted, or is missing pages.
- You received the wrong book. The file does not match the title you paid for.
- The product was materially misdescribed. The book does not contain what the product page said it contains.
- You were charged twice for the same item, or charged for an order that failed.
- You never got access and we cannot resolve it for you.
In the first three cases we will normally offer to fix the problem first — by sending a working file or the correct title — because that is usually what people want. If that does not resolve it, you get your money back.
3. When We Will Not Refund You
We do not refund simply because:
- You changed your mind after downloading.
- You did not enjoy the book, or disagreed with it.
- You already knew the material, or found it too basic or too advanced — each product page states who the book is for.
- You bought the wrong title by mistake and have already downloaded it.
- You did not achieve a particular result after reading. Our books provide information; outcomes depend on your circumstances and actions.
- You cannot open the file because of a problem with your own device or software, where the file itself is sound. We will still try to help you open it.
4. If You Have Not Downloaded Yet
If you have bought a title but not yet downloaded any file from it, contact us within 14 days and we will refund you. Our records show whether a download has been accessed.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email hello@ebooq.store with your order number, the title concerned, and a short description of the problem. Screenshots help for technical faults. We will respond within one business day.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer usually takes between three and ten working days to show the money in your account; that part is outside our control.
6. Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. We resolve genuine problems quickly and a direct refund is far faster than a dispute. Where a chargeback is raised for a download that was successfully delivered and used, we will supply the relevant access records to the payment provider.
7. Coupons and Discounts
Refunds are issued for the amount actually paid after any discount. A single-use coupon consumed on a refunded order can be reissued on request.
8. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy removes rights you have under the consumer law of your country, including rights relating to goods or content that are faulty or not as described. Where local law gives you stronger rights than this policy, local law applies.
